Welcome to the Friends of Oxhey Park Website!

Oxhey Park was formed in 1924 and is a public park located to the South of Watford, a new playground was opened in the park in 2011 and extensive improvement works were undertaken in the park in 2013, this lead to the park being awarded green flag status in 2014. The river Colne runs through the park, and the park also benefits from slopes that make it popular for toboggaining. Friends of Oxhey Park formed in 2003 and meet in the centre of the park (by the green cycle bridge over the Colne) at 10.30am on the 2nd Saturday of the month from March to November excluding August. A new access road is due to be built over the pitches on the North side of the Colne in late 2015.
